is a display of some of my oil paintings and drawings over the last two and a half years.
To view things in the order of their completion start at the bottom and work up. The paintings on the first page were all done in 2011 and all feature skulls. A skull offers the artist a portrait subject, a still life subject and even elements of a landscape--endless fascination.

Gigi in the Azalea Forest, 2009
36 x 24"
This was actually from a photo of Gigi in her parents' kitchen. I "moved" her into our garden under a giant azalea.
I like to look at two and three dimensional art. I also like to draw and paint and inspiration often comes from other artists' work. I'm interested in why and how people have always expressed their existence through art. Art history is my favorite story.
